Job Title: Courtroom Deputy
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Courtroom Deputy in the District of Columbia District Court. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the court, including preparing documents, managing files, and coordinating with other court staff.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of court cases, including preparing exhibits and evidence.
- Provide customer service to court users, including answering questions and resolving issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the court.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, such as court administration or law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
