We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team at The Learning Experience. As an ambassador of happiness, you will create opportunities every day that reflect our mission to make a difference in the lives of babies, their families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Environment: Create a welcoming, engaging, and safe classroom space for Infants to learn, play, and grow.
- Curriculum Implementation: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Center Success: Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- Experience: At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required. College ECE coursework highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
- State Requirements: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Availability: Must be available to work 11:30-6:30, Monday through Friday.
- Personality: Must be bubbly, fun, and energetic.
- Communication Skills: Must have great communication skills with parents.
- Background Check: Must pass a Background Check.
$13.00 per hour
About The Learning ExperienceWe make early education joyful, engaging, and fun so children are happy to learn, play, and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development.
