About the Role

The DOT is accepting applications for the role of Transportation Maintainer 4 at our North Haven Maintenance Facility. This position involves critical responsibilities in drainage and masonry work, focusing on drainage principles, trenching, shoring, and pipe installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform drainage and masonry tasks effectively.
  • Accept assignments for emergency duties, including snow and ice removal, as needed.
  • Maintain a 20-mile residency from the job location.
  • Participate in a practicum to demonstrate relevant skills and experience.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tank endorsement.
  • Be prepared to provide documentation of qualifications during the interview process.
  • Must be willing to work mandatory winter overtime during specific months.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).
  • First shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
