Job Summary

Catholic Charities and Community Services is seeking a skilled Billing Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for researching, calculating, and preparing federal, state, and local agency billings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and prepare accurate and timely billings for federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Examine accounting data for accuracy and appropriateness, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide data and support to independent auditors and government agencies as needed.
  • Monitor expenditures and income related to program budgets to ensure availability of funds.
  • Assist program staff in complying with local, state, and federal regulations and meet required deadlines.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $21.00-$25.00.
  • Part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
