Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder I to join our team at Saginaw Products Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing inspections and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and follow our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Inspect products as scheduled or dictated by shipment schedules, and accept or reject them based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Generate records, reports, and other inspection documents as instructed by customer requirements and QMS requirements.
  • Perform random in-process floor inspections and receiving inspections as assigned.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with AS 9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hand tools and gauging equipment.
  • Basic drawing translation and reading skills.
Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
