About the Unit
The Progressive Care Unit is a specialized 44-bed facility that caters to patients recovering from trauma, surgical procedures, and oncological treatments. As a Clinical Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating closely with medical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications, monitoring patient responses.
  • Document care provided in the patient medical record accurately and timely.
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families.

Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years of hire.

Licensure:
Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing is mandatory. Additional certifications such as BLS are required.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of nursing experience is essential.
