Medical Biller Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our team at Rehab United. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly by accurately processing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit medical claims to insurance companies with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Oversee all claims processing activities in our clearinghouse.
  • Provide accurate and timely AR reports to management.
  • Add new insurance payers to our system and maintain up-to-date information.
  • Aggressively pursue unpaid claims with insurance companies.
  • Assist team members with inquiries and provide guidance.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-10).
  • Proficiency in using medical billing software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
