Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, transferring, and ambulating patients.
  • Administer medications, enemas, and other treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient vital signs, food intake, and output.
  • Report any changes or concerns to assigned nurse or supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • Minimum 0-1 year of relevant experience in healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings plan.
