As an MRI Technologist II at Mercy, you will perform specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Your patient care skills and attention to detail will be essential to these procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Provide patient care and support during procedures, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Apply principles of MR safety, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI), BLS Basic Life Support.
  • Other Skills & Knowledge: IV Insertion, technical skills in medical scanning, understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
