Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at Enlink. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our natural gas processing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Control Plant Operations: Assist in the operation of the natural gas processing facility to ensure optimum plant performance, including monitoring operations of natural gas processing, product treating, compression, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Log and Record Plant Activities: Record plant log entries of gauges, dials, pressures, temperatures, gas throughput, liquid production, fuel consumption, and other shift activities.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Observe and ensure compliance of operating and maintenance procedures as well as safety regulations in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform Inspections and Maintenance: Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on various types of plant equipment, such as engines, compressors, dehydrators, turbines, pumps, and other plant equipment.
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Start/stop operating equipment such as compressors, process skids, and perform general housekeeping on operating and idle equipment.
  • Manage Small Projects and Turnarounds: Manage small plant projects and turnarounds, including organizing daily plant work and helping others where needed.
  • Train and Teach Colleagues: Train and teach colleagues in plant operations, EHS, Piping and Instrumental Diagram, and Lockout Tagout.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 7+ years' experience in gas treating/processing plant required.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of plant principles and operations, ability to read and redline Piping and Instrumental Diagram, and ability to work Distributed Control Systems/Program Logic Control operations.
  • Physical Demands: Must be capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and must be capable of vigorous outdoor activities and have manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, walking on catwalks, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and light industrial equipment.
Work Schedule

Rotating shift schedule, 24 hours call as needed, and work relief coverage for both plant operations and truck loading duties.
