About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team in Topsham, Maine. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the register, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for customers by greeting them with a smile, assisting with their needs, and ensuring they have an enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Operate the Register: Accurately and efficiently ring up purchases while maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor.
  • Merchandising: Help create an inviting and organized sales floor by arranging and refreshing merchandise, making room for new products.
  • Fitting Rooms: Attend to the fitting rooms, ensuring customers have everything they need to make confident purchasing decisions.
  • Team Spirit: Set a friendly and supportive atmosphere for customers and co-workers, building a sense of community within our store.
Requirements
  • Positive Attitude: A friendly and positive demeanor is essential for creating a welcoming work environment.
  • Basic Math and Literacy Skills: Essential for handling transactions and supporting job duties.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Background Check: Pass a criminal background check meeting agency standards.
  • Physical Abilities: Can exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 30 lbs. of force frequently, and 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
