POSITION TITLE:
Buffet Setup & Runner

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving food and beverages in accordance with established etiquette standards, while ensuring a delightful dining experience for all members and guests.

WORK PERFORMED:

1. *Reviews daily function sheets for any unique arrangements for member or private events.

2. *Communicates with the supervisor to receive specific instructions for the day's tasks.

3. *Thoroughly understands the details outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).

4. *Completes all preparatory tasks required for each meal service.

5. *Takes food and beverage orders when necessary.

6. *Monitors for potential issues related to alcohol consumption and underage drinking, alerting the supervisor as needed.

7. *Interacts with members in a friendly and courteous manner.

8. *Maintains a keen awareness of timing to ensure all arrangements are executed promptly.

9. *Restocks items as necessary and communicates effectively with hosts, kitchen staff, and management.

10. *Welcomes members and guests upon arrival, ensuring all their needs are met.

11. *Organizes and keeps the workstation clean and orderly.

12. *Develops a comprehensive understanding of all food and beverage menus.

13. *Adapts to last-minute changes while maintaining a positive demeanor.

14. *Reports any complaints to the supervisor immediately and addresses rule violations.

15. *Adheres to the uniform policy to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

16. *Understands and complies with the Club Bylaws and Rules as necessary.

17. *Completes all side-work duties at the end of the shift.

18. *If required, fills out the server report at the end of the shift.

19. *Carries out any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

20. *Checks in with the supervisor before leaving the premises.

Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
