Your Future Team

As part of our Office of Waste, you will contribute to agency efforts to regulate the generation, treatment, storage, and disposal of various wastes and the cleanup of contaminated sites.

This position is a member of our Remediation Division, where you will manage and oversee the staff and resources of the Superfund Section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of program staff, including scheduling, organizing, and monitoring progress.
  • Prepare, administer, and track the section budget and assigned grants, ensuring deadlines are met and expenditures are appropriate.
  • Participate in the legislative process, providing legislative bill analysis and coordination, and participating in hearings and public meetings.
  • Mentor and assist staff to ensure work objectives are accomplished and individual development is assured.
Qualifications

Experience in the management of a business function, division, or department relevant to assignment.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in a field relevant to assignment.
