Position Summary: The Behavioral Intervention Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and guiding the frontline personnel within the Behavioral Interventionist program.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Administrative Management
- Foster employee satisfaction and a cohesive team environment within the In-Home Behavioral programs.
- Ensure frontline personnel receive adequate support and advocacy.
- Participate in recruitment events to promote direct-service staff opportunities.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the onboarding process.
- Design and implement training programs for all staff.
- Facilitate bi-monthly all-staff meetings.
- Collaborate with Family Coordinators and Directors for effective client/staff pairings.
- Complete staff profiles utilized for client/staff matchings.
- Conduct performance evaluations of the Behavioral Intervention staff, reporting any concerns to the Program Manager.
- Provide quarterly in-home supervision for Behavioral Intervention staff.
- Monitor and document all missed shift notes daily.
- Coordinate with Family Coordinators for family/staff meetings as necessary.
- Attend client team meetings.
- Work alongside the Program Manager regarding corrective actions and terminations.
- Maintain and update family/staff schedules.
- Track and update employee timecards.
- Ensure compliance with required in-home visit processes.
- For Behavioral Intervention maintenance, ensure the following:
- Update databases and client/staff files as needed.
- Support Behavioral Intervention staff during investigations.
- Actively participate in providing effective and efficient client services.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner agencies and the community.
- Maintain open communication with colleagues and direct supervisors regarding service delivery and any concerns.
- Collaborate with branch offices to ensure program fidelity.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Attend required training sessions for ongoing professional development.
- Prepare agency reports and statistical data.
- Establish a process for tracking and reporting program outcomes and quality assurance.
- Ensure resource provider files are compliant.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and Family Coordinators when completing critical incident reports.
- MA/MS (or BA/BS with relevant experience) in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field.
- Experience working with at-risk populations is essential.
- Familiarity with the child welfare system is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, create efficiencies, and guide investments in personnel and systems.
- Understanding of program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Commitment to supporting and advocating for foster and adoptive families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, team management, and interpersonal skills; capable of building rapport and trust.
- Able to advocate for positive outcomes within a diverse team.
