We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular disease.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular disease
- Provide education and training to patients, family members, and staff on exercise and wellness principles
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized exercise plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise programs as needed
- Bachelor's degree in physical science or related field
- Experience working in cardiac rehabilitation or a related field
- Certification in exercise science or a related field (e.g. ACSM, ACE, NSCA)
- Master's degree in physical science or related field
- Experience working with special populations (e.g. pediatrics, geriatrics)
