Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer at Ecompex, you will be responsible for providing professional support services to the United States Coast Guard. Your primary focus will be on designing shore infrastructure maintenance, construction, improvement, and alteration projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings/design plans, and construction management documents
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop project scopes and specifications
  • Conduct site inspections to gather data for new or renovation work
  • Provide technical advice to contracting officers during negotiations
  • Review and comment on submittals, requests for information, and work schedules submitted by construction contractors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or registration as a professional civil or structural engineer
  • Minimum of five years' experience working in the civil engineering field
  • Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation
