We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Lynn Public Schools. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist school nurses with various tasks, including screenings, student care, visits, data entry, and clerical duties.
- Perform or assist with health screenings, respecting and protecting student/staff confidentiality and following all protocols.
- Assist with data entry, notices, reports, health records, and office organization.
- Monitor students awaiting dismissal and/or accompany to the hospital if needed.
- Assist with outreach to families and inventory, order, and fill health supply requisitions.
- Attend trainings/professional development when necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
- Must be able to complete DPH training for screenings.
- Certification in first aid and CPR.
- CNA preferred.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and human relation skills.
- Clerical proficiency and organizational skills.
- Proficient with technology and ability to learn school software programs.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
