Position SummaryAs an Analyst, you will hold significant responsibilities as part of a specialized industry or product-focused team.
Your role will involve formulating new business proposals, developing company forecasts and valuations, evaluating merger and acquisition scenarios, and preparing documentation related to public and private stock issuances.
Analysts are expected to engage in all aspects of the transaction process, including participation in drafting sessions, new business proposals, and due diligence meetings.
You will work independently on complex assignments that require creativity and innovation, allowing for considerable latitude in decision-making.
Additionally, Analysts may lead multiple projects that have substantial scope and impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop financial models to evaluate debt and equity financing options for transactions.
- Conduct valuation methodologies such as precedent transaction analysis, comparable company analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis on target firms.
- Provide insightful contributions to equity offerings, valuations, private placements, and advisory services for mergers and acquisitions.
- Research, analyze, present, and document key elements of developing transactions.
- Create client presentations.
- Stay informed about current events in relevant industry sectors to keep Bankers updated on critical issues affecting current and prospective clients.
- Maintain files related to active and prospective transactions.
- Assist in recruiting and training new Analysts and Interns.
- Manage group databases.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:

- Basic investment concepts, practices, and procedures utilized in the securities industry.

Education/Experience:
- Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- A Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in a related field is required. Internship experience in a relevant area is preferred.

- Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
