Job Summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans to help patients breathe easier. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis, to assess patient respiratory function.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients breathe easier, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and airway clearance techniques.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
