The Iowa City (IA) VA Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to serve as the Chief of Imaging Service Line. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the management, planning, organization, direction, and control of all programs within the Imaging Service Line.
- Provide fiscal oversight, patient satisfaction, patient care delivery, and appropriate interfacing with all other services of the Iowa City VA Health Care System.
- Lead a team of professionals to achieve excellence in patient care, education, and research.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (Non-Citizens May Be Considered)
- Must have current, active & unencumbered U.S. State Medical License
- Chief of Imaging must be BC in Diagnostic Radiology with preference for supervisory experience

The Iowa City (IA) VA Health Care System is a comprehensive tertiary health care center, teaching hospital, and research facility, with 83 operational hospital beds, and is academically affiliated with the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
Work Schedule is Mondays - Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Call is infrequent (rare & negotiable).
