Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and develop educational programs for young learners.
- Supervise and engage students during activities, ensuring their safety and inclusion in the classroom environment.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials, including educational resources and equipment.
- Support students with individualized needs, including toileting and hygiene assistance.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture that promotes social-emotional learning and academic success.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or paraprofessional certification is preferred.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and creativity to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
- The ability to lift and assist young children as needed.
