About the Role:
The Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit (CICU) at Elliot Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a CICU Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to patients with cardiac/telemetry, S/P catheter, pacer, ICD, stroke & seizure, GI bleed, sepsis, and med/surg overflow needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings
- Participate in goal setting and planning with patients and families, communicating plans of care for input and feedback
- Embody the Elliot Health Interprofessional Practice model, ANA's Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and relevant specialty standards of practice
- Stay up-to-date with current evidence and national/specialty standards to guide practice and performance
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse required
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
- ACLS preferred
