Coolab Foods LLC, a renowned ice cream manufacturer in Franklin Park, IL, is seeking an experienced and skilled Ice Cream Production Lead to oversee the execution of production plans. This key role involves supervising production operators, participating in plan development, and ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP/SQF program guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational maturity, effective leadership skills, and the ability to motivate team members. They should be able to direct and guide operators in executing production tasks efficiently and safely.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in ice cream manufacturing, preferably with knowledge of GMP principles, process control, packing, and mechanical operations. Experience managing people and working with employees at various levels of the organization is also essential.
We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 per year plus benefits for this full-time position. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to manage complexity effectively.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in ice cream manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMP principles, process control, packing, and mechanical operations (strongly preferred)
