Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesia Care Team in Santa Clara, California. As a CRNA with Kaiser Permanente, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collegial environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Selects and administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to and during surgical or medical procedures.
  • Monitors patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and takes remedial action when warranted.
  • Submits postoperative report on patient condition and maintains records of anesthetics administered.
  • Performs procedures outside of the OR, in accordance with KP policies and procedures, established competency, and MD order.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and an accredited school of anesthesia.
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in California.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
