Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care services with a focus on decision-making related to the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, expected outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to facilitate healthy adjustment to new or changed health patterns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care in a healing, humane, and caring environment.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in clinical inquiry and activities to foster an evidence-based practice.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (highly preferred) or Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing with plans to earn a baccalaureate degree.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- 3 years of RN experience.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience in emergency room or critical care nursing.
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations.
