Job Overview

The Technical Project Coordinator is tasked with overseeing various technical initiatives, which may include phishing simulations, email signature rollouts, SharePoint transitions, and internet service installations. This position may also involve managing customer onboarding and related projects.

This role reports directly to the Technical Project Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Project Coordinator will engage daily with the Cortavo support teams to:

  • Facilitate project tasks by collaborating with our Service Desk, Field Services, and Engineering teams.
  • Ensure all project activities are completed within the designated timelines.
  • Oversee procurement processes to ensure they align with project needs.
  • Schedule field engineers for on-site tasks such as site assessments and hardware setups.
  • Confirm orders for internet and other necessary services.

Additionally, the Technical Project Coordinator will work closely with assigned Cortavo clients to ensure:

  • Clear project definitions, planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
  • Effective coordination with Cortavo resources to meet project specifications.
  • Ongoing communication regarding project milestones and timelines through both verbal and written updates.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven experience in managing technical projects (HaaS, SaaS, IT services).
  • Background in customer service or project management environments.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Smartsheets).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Skilled in Google Suite, especially Gmail and Google Docs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to empathize with customers during delays or challenges.
  • A diligent note-taker with a commitment to timely task completion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing complex projects with numerous steps.
  • Background in Managed Service Provider environments.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, software, and managed services technologies.
  • Knowledge of tools and technologies commonly used by small businesses.
