Production Pharmacist

About the role:
Job Summary:
As a Production Pharmacist at Fagron Sterile Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compounding unit meets all product labeling and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in sterile compounding will be essential in creating Master Batch Records for new products and major process changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approve initial CSP label specifications and patient-impacting changes.
- Review and approve essential copy justifications during new product introductions.
- Develop and maintain Master Batch Records for new products.
- Train employees and implement new controlled substance programs as needed.
- Support deviation management as the patient advocate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant procedures and policies.
- Attend industry conferences to expand knowledge of therapeutic areas.
- Understand customer and patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited college of pharmacy or foreign equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacist in the state where manufacturing will be performed.
- 3-5 years of deep admixture experience.
- Experience in administration and/or hands-on responsibility for controlled substances.
- Previous experience in GMP cleanroom environments and/or advanced hospital IV admixture programs is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
