Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the smooth transfer of orders from the service staff to the kitchen.
  • Prioritize orders for timely preparation.
  • Assist in the final assembly of menu items.
  • Verify dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before serving.
  • Deliver orders promptly to ensure swift service.
  • Remove barriers in service, food preparation areas, or dishwashing stations.
  • Inspect the establishment to uphold quality and sanitation standards and assist with cleaning duties.
  • Communicate essential information between the kitchen and wait staff (e.g., special customer requests).
  • Address customer complaints to maintain the restaurant's esteemed reputation.
  • Support additional tasks as required (e.g., managing telephone orders).
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a food expediter role or similar restaurant position.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead and guide team members.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Capability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Robust physical stamina.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability for weekday morning/day shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation

Hourly rate: $16.50
