Position: Microcircuit Emulation Center - Semiconductor Process Engineer
Company: SRI International
Overview: The Microcircuit Emulation Center is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer to enhance the production of microcircuits (integrated circuits) within the Plasma Etch process domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on engineering expertise in the semiconductor sector
- Enhancing, refining, and optimizing existing processes
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to resolve process challenges
- Gathering, analyzing, and presenting data effectively
- Ensuring compliance with operational and safety documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics, material science, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Wafer Fab processing engineering, specifically in the Plasma Etch area
- Proficient analytical and systematic troubleshooting abilities
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with Lam and/or Applied Materials systems is preferred
- Knowledge of process integration is beneficial
- Computer programming skills are an asset
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
Working Environment:
- Work will be conducted in a clean room setting
- Flexibility in shift work may be necessary
