Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to join our Clean Team in Rochester West. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe store environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and dry sales floor at all times, responding promptly to clean up calls and spills.
  • Ensure carts are available for customers, collecting and transporting them to the cart room, and maintaining a maximum of ten carts.
  • Remove unnecessary cardboard, empty product boxes, and condense shelf stock to maintain proper shelf presentation and accessibility.
  • Remove and dispose of trash, collecting it from inside and outside the store and transporting it to the compactor.
  • Assist customers with questions or requests, answering questions and referring them to the proper area or individual for help.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull heavy objects, as well as operate cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
