Job Description

Welcome to One and Only Fitness Consulting, where we strive to provide a clean and welcoming environment for our members. As a vital member of our team, the Housekeeping Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

The Housekeeping Team Member will work under the direction of the General Manager and Front Desk Manager to perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean outside glass, wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as necessary, and empty trash receptacles daily.
  • Floor Care: Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases, and clean carpets and floors as needed.
  • Lighting and Electrical: Change light bulbs as necessary and ensure all lighting and electrical fixtures are in good working order.
  • Bathroom and Restroom Maintenance: Clean bathrooms, including tile, tubs, walls, and sinks, and maintain the cleanliness of mirrors and glass.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture and fixtures daily and buff locker and lobby room floors.
  • Supply Management: Maintain and organize mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and other equipment and supplies in designated storage areas.
  • Debris Removal: Pick up debris on carpet and vacuum carpet.
  • Supply Restocking: Replenish required supplies in locker rooms and stock carts with linens and supplies as trained and required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily and report maintenance problems in a timely and accurate manner.
