Job Title: Medical Dosimetrist

At Muscogee Staffing Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Medical Dosimetrist to plan and calculate radiation treatment courses, collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, and ensure the accuracy of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop radiation treatment courses to ensure accurate and effective treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists to create treatment plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Verify treatment plans and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Document patient treatment plans and progress to maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize advanced treatment planning systems and software to optimize treatment delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the radiation therapy team to ensure seamless treatment delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetry, or a related field.
  • Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiation treatment planning.
  • Proficiency in treatment planning software (e.g., Eclipse, Pinnacle).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
