Key Responsibilities:
  • Propound and respond to extensive discovery
  • Communicate with clients to assist with discovery responses
  • Filing government claims
  • Calendaring and filing lawsuits
  • Special projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Excellent writing and English grammar skills
  • At least an Associate's degree or higher
  • A paralegal certification from a reputable institution or experience at a law firm performing paralegal tasks
  • The ability to analyze a case and think outside the box
  • Experience communicating with clients, primarily to assist with client discovery responses
  • In-depth experience in all aspects of litigation, discovery, and motions
  • Understanding of how to analyze medical records
  • A positive attitude and a team player
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Thorough understanding of personal injury law, both in the pre-litigation and litigation phases
