IT Systems Engineer

Crystal Stairs, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and high availability of our Windows Servers, VMware virtualization, and datastores.
Responsibilities:- System administration of a Microsoft Windows Domain environment running DFRS, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, IIS, Certificate Services, Federation Services, and other similar services.
- Management of VCenter running on a clustered HP server with VMs.
- Administration of Office 365, Entra ID, and on-prem active directory infrastructure.
- Monitoring of all critical systems using various monitoring tools and timely incident response.
- Designing and implementing complex systems in full alignment with organizational goals.
- Automating IT tasks by using Microsoft PowerShell tools and scripts.
- Configuring systems utilizing industry and manufacturer best practices.
- Performing system upgrades and patching to minimize security vulnerabilities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date infrastructure documentation and knowledge base.
- Providing Tier-2 support to the agency's helpdesk and security teams.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 5-7 years of verifiable relevant work experience.
- Technical Certifications such as VMware VCTA, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCE or MCA certifications are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years as a Windows administrator in a similar environment.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting VMware infrastructure.
- Minimum of 3 years managing shared and direct connected storage.
- Minimum of 3 years Windows System patching and upgrades.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting an on-prem Exchange Server.
