Job Title: Palliative Medicine Specialist

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a skilled Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Palliative Medicine Specialist, you will provide compassionate care to adult patients with serious illnesses, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide palliative care to adult patients with serious illnesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Participate in educational programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine or a related field.
  • Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • DEA license.
  • Experience working in palliative care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
