We are seeking a Nurse Manager of Medical Surgical to oversee the daily function and staffing of the unit/department at Methodist Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and leadership, with the ability to create a superior clinical identity by operationalizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.

The Nurse Manager will ensure adherence to standards of care, support efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost. They will also provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience, instilling accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, 3+ years of applicable experience, and a current license to practice professional registered nursing in the state of Texas. They will be responsible for identifying development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams, providing coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
