Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address findings, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Participate in weekly safety update calls with the Airswift Safety Team to discuss ongoing initiatives and best practices.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Thorough understanding of Airswift's Contractor Safety Policy and its implementation.
  • Knowledge of company operational practices and procedures, including construction site safety protocols.
  • Expertise in local and federal regulations, including OSHA and DOT safety laws, and State Departments of Public Safety requirements as they pertain to electric utility industries.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and sound safety management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Distribution & Transmission operations and associated electrical, construction practices, and renewable energy practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience in field project support and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with management and the skilled craft workforce.
  • Strong project leadership skills and willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
