What You'll Do as a Home Health Aide
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist seniors with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support Activities of Daily Living: Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Assist with Ambulation and Transferring: Help seniors move around safely and comfortably.
  • Provide Medication Reminders: Ensure seniors take their medications on time.
  • Document Conditions and Notify Supervisors: Keep track of seniors' conditions and notify supervisors of any concerns.
  • Ensure a Safe Home Environment: Help seniors maintain a safe and accessible living space.
  • Participate in Activities: Engage seniors in activities that bring them joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
Requirements
  • 6 Months Prior Adult Caregiving Experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate.
