Job Summary:

The J.R. Simplot Company is a leading global food and agriculture company seeking a skilled Production Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality and production levels are achieved and sustained for the packaging equipment on the assigned line(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation, and GMPs.
  • Provide troubleshooting, repair, and support on equipment, instrumentation systems, and supporting equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic aspects.
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency and ensure compliance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and sampling, including bag/case weights, audit check-weighers, metal detector, X-ray, packaging workmanship, etc.
  • Ensure metal detector checks and other required checks are conducted and recorded in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3+ years related experience and/or training

Benefits:

  • $25.87/hr
  • Day Shift - Crew B
  • Must be able to work around and consume products containing soy, wheat, and dairy
