Job Summary

FIS is seeking a Remittance Processing Associate to join our team. As a Remittance Processing Associate, you will be responsible for preparing customer payments for processing, coordinating set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment, and performing research and adjustment activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer payments for processing
  • Coordinate set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment
  • Perform research and adjustment activities
  • Process exception items
  • Maintain inventory of remittance processing supplies
  • Prepare outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Considerable knowledge of remittance processing
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds
