Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our team at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient information, including medication, charge, and reporting accuracy.
  • Respond to emergent situations and provide care as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with PHS, Local, and Federal regulations.
Requirements
  • 2 years of current experience in a specialized unit, such as Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • At least one 13-week travel assignment completed.
  • Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties.
  • RN licensure required.
  • Associates Degree in RN program, radiology.
Work Schedule
  • Shift start at 7am - on call required weekdays.
  • On call at both Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital, weekends required.
  • Friday 1730- Monday 0700 & holidays required for call only.
  • Floating required Yes (typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center.
  • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
Additional Information
  • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
  • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
