Position Overview
As a key member of our operational team, the Pumping Unit Operator III is responsible for the effective management and operation of Pumping Unit and Pump Jack machinery. This role is primarily hands-on, requiring direct interaction with equipment and systems, and necessitates a high level of precision in operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and articulate the function of all primary operational equipment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of auxiliary machinery.
  • Execute all aspects of driving, rigging up, operating, and rigging down equipment at the job site.
  • Maintain equipment and uphold accurate driving records in accordance with regional transportation standards.
  • Ensure a satisfactory driving record is maintained.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly convey instructions and details.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and Weatherford policies.
  • Perform tasks in compliance with the documented Quality Policy and all relevant procedures.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors within the job's physical constraints.
Qualifications:
  • This is an entry-level position.
  • Experience in Pumping Unit Services is advantageous.
  • A High School diploma/GED or equivalent skilled labor certification is required.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • A valid Driver's License is necessary; a CDL is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must comply with regional driving regulations and health requirements.
  • Willingness to work a flexible rotational schedule, including extended or irregular hours.
  • Availability to be on-call 24/7 is essential.
Work Schedule:
  • Rotational schedules available include:
    • 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off
    • 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
    • 4 weeks on / 1 week off
  • Travel expenses within the U.S. are covered up to $1,000 for any 4-week rotational schedule.
