Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista Team Member at Lowes Foods. As a key member of our coffee shop team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and engaging service to all guests, including demonstrations and samples of brewing and roasting equipment.
  • Follow merchandising and operational guidelines to ensure proper inventory levels and product presentation.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and products, including coffee, tea, and baked goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the coffee shop and surrounding areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and employees.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating products as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including PA announcements and special projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work well with guests and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Store Management and Merchandiser(s).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
