  1. Welcome and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store.
  2. Efficiently manage the cash register operations.
  3. Authorize refunds for fellow Associates within designated limits.
  4. Support the training of new Sales Associates.
  5. Stay informed about all promotions and advertisements to effectively assist customers and drive sales; promote donation initiatives throughout the year.
  6. Keep the front end work area organized and tidy.
  7. Assist in receiving deliveries, pricing merchandise, and organizing the store layout.
  8. Communicate customer feedback and needs to Team Leaders as necessary.
  9. Ensure the overall cleanliness of the store environment.
  10. Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least six months of experience in a retail service-oriented environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry terminology and processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend and twist frequently.
  • Frequent gripping, reaching, and pinching with hands and arms.
  • Occasional squatting, kneeling, balancing, and climbing ladders.
  • Regular ability to see, hear, and speak.
