Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor of Engineering Technology to join our team at GeorgiaGov. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum for our new associate degree program in engineering technology with specializations in mechanical or electrical engineering and their associated certificate programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum for engineering technology programs
  • Recommend purchase of instructional equipment and supplies
  • Design classroom and laboratory space
  • Teach engineering technology courses
  • Develop and maintain educational records
  • Participate in faculty development programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering technology and experience in curriculum development and implementation. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Applicants must have a master's degree in engineering technology or a related field and be qualified to teach at the post-secondary level. They must also be able to maintain qualifications for employment as required by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and the College.
