Job Overview

Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a highly skilled Software Resilience Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing software prototypes and research methods for software resilience. Responsibilities:

  • Develop software exception handlers, inter-process communication mechanisms, and software fault monitors
  • Design embedded software tools and capabilities
  • Analyze software weaknesses using static, dynamic, and complexity analysis software tools

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, engineering, or verification engineering
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, MATLAB, C#, or JAVA
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
