Nursing Education Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated Nursing Education Specialist to join our team at Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for clinical and technical staff.
About the Role:
- This position requires collaboration with the Director to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of staff members.
- The Nursing Education Specialist must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate learning and engagement among trainees.
- The role involves assessing the educational needs of staff members and developing targeted solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement educational programs for clinical and technical staff.
- Assess the educational needs of staff members and develop targeted solutions.
- Develop and deliver educational programs, including classroom instruction, online modules, and hands-on training.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update educational content.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to new hires to ensure successful onboarding and transition to their roles.
- Maintain accurate records of educational participation and completion.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to keep them informed of educational progress and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance educational programs and improve patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current NH RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- BSN required or enrolled in BSN program with expected completion within 2 years.
- Master's degree preferred.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
