Job Title: Head Waiter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Waiter to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a Head Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests, while maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining room staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Provide coaching and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of hospitality management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine service, and customer service principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to speak additional languages a plus.

Working Conditions:

This role requires standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You must be physically able to participate in emergency life-saving procedures and drills.
