Premise Health seeks a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to fill a part-time position in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ambulatory care and be able to work independently to assess patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

About the Job:

This role requires a high level of autonomy, as the Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting health assessments, making diagnoses, and prescribing treatments. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate medical records, educate patients on self-care, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough health assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Prescribe medications and other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy or inhalation therapy.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients on self-care and provide support throughout their recovery process.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Science of Nursing is required.
  • National certification (ANCC or AANP) is essential.
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer or ACLS) Certification is required.
  • State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable) must be obtained.
  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable) is necessary.
Preferred Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and strong computer skills are beneficial.
  • Experience with training and coaching is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is $120,000.
