Key Responsibilities- Support the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, adhering to manufacturers' recommendations and corporate specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot the root cause of problems, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
- Perform regular building rounds to ensure the integrity of the site, verifying customer installation activities and collaborating with contractors and service providers as needed.
- Monitor building management systems and automated tools to optimize operational efficiencies and compliance with service level agreements.
- Provide on-call support and emergency response, working closely with the team to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in project teams, responding to internal and external work requests in a timely manner and delivering high-quality support.
- Implement method of procedures (MOPs) and maintain facilities-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors, maintaining excellent organizational and communication skills, and adapting to changing priorities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification(s) in critical facilities or data center field preferred.
- 2-years of mission critical facilities operations experience preferred.
- Operational experience with data center critical infrastructure equipment, including switchgear, generators, UPS, PDU, Chillers, RTU, CRAH/CRAC, Chilled Water systems, and VESDA.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, passing security clearance and/or background check as required.
